PMI (Preferred Materials) was created on the basis of customer service.  What you see today is the product of hard work, strong family ties, a great foundation and qualified drivers who take pride in the trucks they drive.  All the equipment is kept at the high standard which the owners, Kary and Sharon Bryce, had set in place from the beginning.

They wanted to maintain nice looking equipment and provide a service unparalleled to anyone else.  As the name signifies, this company wants to bring to their customers the look and service that a "Preferred" carrier can provide.

 

President

NATALY MADDEN

Eldest daughter of Kary and Sharon Bryce, Nataly has been involved with the company since she was a teenager.  A graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a major in Industrial Engineering, she came on board full-time in 2013 and holds the title of Vice President.

Though she shares many responsibilities with others, her main focus is overseeing the administrative functions of the company as well as providing direction and leadership to all.  Nataly is well versed in every aspect of the company as well as establishing her own authority in 2014 under the name Signature Transport LLC.

PHILLIP DILLARD

Phillip who is a lifelong resident of North Louisiana, joined the team in October of 2015. Starting his career at PMI in sales, he has worked in a variety of roles over the last 9 year. Currently serving as Vice President, Phillip is responsible of day to day operations, sales, fleet, along with assisting the President in leading the different divisions of the company.

TODD RUPPLE

Todd brings over 20 years of experience in the transportation industry and has been with Preferred Materials, Inc. since June of 2013.

He is a native to Louisiana and has been married to his wife Christie since 1989.  Together they have 2 children and currently reside in Minden, LA.

JARED BRYCE

Jared, son of Kary and Sharon Bryce, came on board with PMI in the role of sales in May of 2020 after graduating in Industrial Engineering Technology from Northwestern State University.  Previous to joining PMI full time, he has worked for the company as a driver and in the maintenance department.

Safety, Training & Recruiting

DENNIS "ALAN" RAY

A resident of Louisiana all of his life, he retired in 2012 with 26 years of service for the Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections.  He came on board with PMI in June of 2014 handling the safety and training for PMI.

Married since 1994, Alan and his wife along with their daughter reside in Blanchard, LA.  When not working, Alan enjoys time with family, hunting and getting time on the golf course.

GWEN SIMMONS

Gwen who resides in Sibley, has been with the company since July 2016. Her duties are all safety related including Logbooks, orientation and assists with some responsibilities in Human Resources. Born and raised in Louisiana, Gwen has a son and a daughter plus two grandchildren who she loves spending time with.
